Governing Documents

  • Explain the difference between the two HOAs
As you may know, we are actually members of two homeowner associations and we pay fees to both. The master association is Anthology West Community Association, Inc. We are obligated to follow the covenants, conditions, restrictions, guidelines, etc. of both associations. Their website: https://pcms.net/anthology-west-master-hoa. You will want to sign up to receive their updates via email. Anthology West maintains the clubhouse and pool and all the common grounds. They also handle the contract for trash removal and recycling. Our HOA, Paired Homes at Sunmarke, handles our lawn maintenance (mowing, fertilizing and sprinkler startup and winterization), snow removal and painting the exterior of the homes. Each HOA needs to approve design changes to the exterior of the homes and yards. You can find design specs and an Architecture Review Form (ARC) in the documents section. If you wish to make changes, please submit this to the Paired Homes board first.
  • What does Paired Homes at Sunmarke do for our homes?

The Paired Homes HOA also approves design changes to the exterior of the homes and yards. You can find design specs and an Architecture Review Form (ARC) in the documents section. • What is the process for making changes to the outside of a home or yard?
Any changes made to the exterior of the home or the landscaping of the yard need to be approved by the Paired Homes HOA and the Anthology West HOA. The process would be to fill out the Architectural Review Form, have it signed by each of your next-door neighbors, and submit it to the Paired Homes board via email. Once approved by the Paired Homes, it will need to be submitted for Anthology West approval. Once approved, you can make the changes requested.
  • When will homes be painted?
The homes are painted over a 3-year span. The 4 buildings on the east end are painted one year. The middle 4 buildings are painted the next year. The 5 buildings on the west are painted the following year. The homes are scheduled to be painted every 7-8 years, based on how the paint holds up during that span. Homes were last painted in 2019/2020/2021. The homes on the east end will be evaluated in 2026 to determine whether to be painted that year or the next. As a reminder, it is the homeowner's responsibility to touch-up the paint as needed, including painting or re-painting the railings. Please contact the board if paint is needed. We have some left from the last painting and have the color codes if you need to buy more.
